Ministry

Adult Sunday School

Adult and Children’s Christian Education is held most Sundays from approximately 10:20 to 11:10 a.m. A wide range of topics is covered in hopes of stimulating individual reflection and a deeper appreciation of God, his church, and our place in it.

Children's Sunday School

Children’s Christian Education is held most Sundays from approximately 10:20 to 11:10 a.m. It  is a fun and engaging program designed to teach kids about God, the Bible, and Christian values in an age-appropriate way. Through stories, songs, crafts, and activities, children learn important lessons about faith, kindness, and love in a safe and welcoming environment. It’s a great place for kids to grow spiritually, make friends, and build a strong foundation in their faith.

Music Ministry

Under the guidance of Robert Mains, Choir Director, the DPC Choir performs at the 9:00 a.m. traditional worship service on most Sundays between Labor Day and mid-June. On Palm Sunday, the Choir provides the sermon through song, presenting a special cantata as part of the worship service. The Choir rehearses every Wednesday from September to June at 7:00 p.m.

Want to become a member of the choir? No audition required! We’ve got a choir robe that will fit you. We’ll teach you the basics of group choral music and, if you can hold a tune and are willing to make a joyful noise unto the Lord, you’re “in the band.”

Congregational Care

Donegal Presbyterian Church is blessed with members – Deacons and Stephen Ministers – to reach out to those in need of caring and support. This is not a substitute for Pastoral care, but rather a supplement to provide long-term continued support through the power of our Church Family.

Nursery services

The church offers nursery care services during both Sunday services for families with children 4 years old and below. All nursery caregivers are required to provide local, state, and federal background checks and clearances.
