300th Celebration

As Donegal Presbyterian Church turned 300 years old, a group of hard-working, dedicated members planned events to recognize and celebrate this historic, noteworthy milestone. Due to Covid 19, events which were originally scheduled for 2020 were postponed to 2021. There was a special program presented by the Donegal Society in June of 2021. All were welcomed to the events as we celebrated 300 years of continuous worship in this beautiful setting of Donegal Presbyterian Church.

In addition to planned events, the Project 300 Team produced a cookbook with over 300 recipes symbolizing the 300th anniversary. A few of these  cookbooks are still available for purchase.

The theme that guided the Project 300 Team is: Donegal Presbyterian Church: 300 years of worship and witness, serving our community with energy, intelligence, imagination, and love. Throughout 2021 and 2022, the Team recognized the history, heritage, beauty, and reverence of Donegal Presbyterian Church, a registered National Historic Landmark. This historic church, nestled in its beautiful natural surroundings, has served the spiritual needs of this community for more than 300 years and the future looks bright for many, many more!
