Christmas at Donegal
Advent & Christmas is a special time of the year for all Christians, and it is particularly unique at Donegal. It starts with the “Greening of the Church” as our members decorate the window sills throughout our historic sanctuary and drape ribbon and holly throughout our grounds. We celebrate Advent with the lighting of candles for Hope, Peace, Joy, and Love culminating with the lighting of the Christ candle at our two Christmas Eve services – a festival of lessons and carols – that each end with the singing of Silent Night to the backdrop of a solemn, candlelit room. We hope you’ll join us this year for any or all of our services to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ!
